'Wah Ji Wah' song from 'Duplicate': Karan Johar praises Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan

Karan Johar recently took to his social handle to share ‘Wah Ji Wah’ song from ‘Duplicate’ where we can see Shah Rukh Khan dancing inside the kitchen along with his colleagues. While sharing the video, he captioned it saying, “@farahkhankunder owning and nailing the vibe! Duplicate was so much fun to shoot! @iamsrk Giving each shot a volcano of energy!!!! The magic of the 90s.” Farah Khan also shared the same clip on her Instagram story and wrote, “The film where I actually became best friends with u @karanjohar.”
About ‘Duplicate’
Duplicate was co-produced by Karan along with his father Yash Johar. The former was also credited as one of the costume designers in the film. Farah, who had begun her career as a choreographer was also a part of the comedy action-thriller. It is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action-comedy film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, with Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre playing female lead roles. The film portrays Shah Rukh Khan playing a dual role as Bablu, an aspiring chef and Manu, a notorious gangster. It marked Khan's first of many collaborations with Dharma Productions. At the 43rd Filmfare Awards , the film received 2 nominations – Best Villain (Khan) and Best Lyricist ( Javed Akhtar for "Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam"). The movie is loosely based on the Hollywood movie Face/Off.
